Managing shared requests.

All requests in a Fetcher workspace are visible to all Members and Admins. You can leave a request unassigned (shared with the whole team) or assign it to a specific person.

Assigning a request

Open any request from the Requests list. Click Assign to in the request header and select a team member from the dropdown. The assigned member receives an in-app notification and the request appears highlighted in their Requests view.

You can reassign a request to a different person at any time — from the same Assign to control. Changing the assignee sends a notification to the new assignee but not the previous one.

Unassigned requests

Requests that aren't assigned to anyone are visible to all Members and Admins but don't appear in anyone's personal queue. Use unassigned for requests that the whole team monitors, or for requests you haven't yet decided who should own.

Your personal queue

Filter the Requests list by Assigned to me to see only requests assigned to you. This is useful for individual team members who want a focused view of their own active work without seeing the whole team's queue.

Notifications for assigned requests

When a client uploads a document to a request assigned to you, you receive the upload notification. If the request is unassigned, all Admins and the workspace owner receive the notification. Members who are not assigned to a request don't receive upload notifications for it (but they can still see it in the Requests list).
