Roles & permissions.
Fetcher has three roles. Assign the one that matches what each person needs to do — you can change a team member's role at any time.
Admin
Full access to everything in the workspace:
- Create, send, edit, close, and delete requests
- Create, edit, and delete templates
- Manage reminder sequences
- Invite, remove, and change the role of team members
- Edit account settings (workspace name, logo, branding)
- Access and manage billing
Every workspace has at least one Admin. The first person who creates the workspace is automatically an Admin.
Member
Full access to the core workflow, no access to billing or team management:
- Create, send, edit, and close their own and shared requests
- Create and edit templates (cannot delete templates)
- Manage their own reminder sequences
- View all requests in the workspace
This is the right role for most team members — paralegals, associates, agents, coordinators — anyone who actively collects documents.
Viewer
Read-only access:
- View all requests in the workspace
- Download files from any request
- View reports
Viewers cannot create requests, send invitations, or access settings. Use this role for supervisors who need visibility, auditors, or clients who need read access to a shared workspace.
Changing a role
Go to /dashboard/?v=team, click a team member's name, and select a new role from the dropdown. The change takes effect immediately.
