What is Fetcher?
Fetcher is a document collection platform built for professionals who regularly need files from clients. Instead of email attachments, back-and-forth messages, and lost PDFs, Fetcher gives your client a single secure link. They open it, see exactly what you need, and upload everything in one place.
Who uses Fetcher?
Fetcher is used across industries where collecting paperwork from clients is a core part of the job:
- Real estate agents — purchase agreements, ID, proof of funds, disclosure forms
- Accountants and CPAs — W-2s, 1099s, receipts, prior-year returns
- Attorneys — evidence, contracts, signed forms, discovery documents
- Mortgage brokers — pay stubs, bank statements, tax returns
- HR teams — new hire onboarding paperwork, certifications, employment verifications
How the core workflow works
Every Fetcher request follows the same four-step pattern. You create a request and list the documents you need. Fetcher emails your client a personalized link. They open the link — no login required — and upload their files one by one. You receive each file the moment it lands and can download everything when they're done.
Fetcher handles the follow-up automatically. If your client forgets, the reminder sequence you configured sends nudges on the schedule you set. When every item is uploaded, reminders stop on their own.
The core philosophy
The product idea is simple: documents that walk themselves in. Fetcher's job is to remove every obstacle between your client and the submit button — no accounts to create, no apps to download, no confusion about what's needed or where to send it.
